Changelog
Changes that affect what you see, schedule or pay. Newest first.
October 9, 2026
- The cron expression explainer shows the next 10 run times, keeps a shareable link for every schedule (runlater.app/cron?expr=...), and "Run this on RunLater" fills the schedule into your first request after sign-in.
- New comparisons: Vercel Cron Jobs and a crontab on your own server. New error guides for common cron and webhook timeout errors.
- Terms now spell out the trial, what counts toward run limits, log retention and what is not included yet.
- Saving a request now rejects unknown time zones, invalid dates and private or local network URLs, with a message saying what to change.
- Recurring requests over the monthly run limit wait for the next period instead of retrying in a loop. Fixed an off-by-one in the retry count.
- Cancelling in the billing portal asks for a reason (optional).
October 8, 2026
- Plan limits raised about 50x at the same prices: Starter 250 scheduled requests and 25,000 runs a month, Team 1,000 and 100,000, Pro 5,000 and 500,000.
- Free cron expression explainer with 20 common schedules, fair comparison pages (Posthook, Cronhooks, cron-job.org, EasyCron, QStash) and two new guides: Vercel Hobby cron more than once a day, and Zapier delays longer than 30 days.
- Trial emails: setup steps on day 0, a reminder on day 2 if nothing is scheduled yet, and a notice before the trial ends with the exact amount.
- Replies and support go to hello@greatwork.company (runlater.app addresses did not receive mail).
October 7, 2026
- Every plan starts with a 14-day trial; the $0 plan was removed. Card at checkout, nothing charged if you cancel before day 14.
- Requests to private, local and cloud metadata addresses are blocked, for scheduled runs and the Test button.
- Retries no longer block other scheduled requests while they wait.
